Maryam Omolara Quadri is a professor of public policy, gender and development in the Department of Political Science, University of Lagos.
She served as the Acting Head of the Department of Political Science University of Lagos from August 2023 – July 2025.
Prof. Quadri was a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Political Science and International Affairs, Kennesaw State University, Atlanta Georgia, United States in 2011.
She was a Commonwealth Professional Fellow at Roehampton University, United Kingdom in 2012. She was also a Fellow of the American Political Science Association (APSA) Africa Workshop at Maputo, Mozambique in 2014.
Quadri was the Secretary-General of Commonwealth Scholars and Fellows Alumni Association, Nigeria (COSFAN), (April 2023- April 2025).
Quadri was a member of the EU-Africa Connect Team (Grant award recipient) – A UNILAG- JEAN MONNET Module Programme and Summer School, 2022 -2024.
She is currently an Associate Member of the Institute of African and Diaspora Studies (IADS), University of Lagos.
Prof. Quadri has published articles in both local and international journals.
