Dr Bamidele Olajide holds a PhD in International Relations from North West University, South Africa. His areas of research interest include Environmental Politics, International Relations and Aspects of the Environment as Political Theory. Dr Olajide has researched and published in these areas, with over 20 publications in peer reviewed journals and edited books and volumes. He has also attended and presented papers at local and international conferences. Some of the latest works include “Climate Change, Global Energy Transition and the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria: Missed Opportunities and the Way Forward’ and ‘Unplanned Urbanisation, Deforestation and the Political Ecology of REDD+ in Nigeria’.
